I grew up in a musical family, and despite their best efforts, followed in their footsteps. When the pandemic hit in 2020, I took a step back, and finished a screenplay I'd been working on in City College classes. Since then, I've written and directed three narrative short films, with the collaboration of local Bay Area greats like Kyung Lee and Stacy McKenzie. I'm still writing, all the time, in prose, for the stage, and for the screen, and am working on my next record with Scott McDowell and Benjamin Andrews.
I write stories about flawed characters in compromising positions, and how they reconcile their values with their ambitions.
